My husband and I visited family close to the hotel. We like to walk and the location was close to shopping and a beautiful park and lovely clean town. The staff was wonderful and helpful in every way. Very clean. We would already mentioned it to several friends and hope to return ourselves.
As always, each place you stay can use updates-
Clean and large room. Nice location in Bellevue WA. The staff is correct and helpful.
Excellent value, free and adequate parking, across from shopping mall, close to Bellevue central park and good restaurants. Will definitely stay at again when in Bellevue.
A little dated, continental breakfast not worth eating - prepackaged pastries, etc.
Staff was great, room was very nice, price was perfect
Hotel closed from 10 p.m. till 7 a.m. and you can't get in if you come during this period.
Very helpful front desk gal. Breakfast not bad. Very clean. Older, but clean. Slight musty smell in room, just because older.
Staff persons were courteous and room was clean and comfortable
Excellent location - walked to shopping and dining. Easy bus trip to downtown Seattle. Very clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.
It was financially a very good deal.
The bed was very hard, dishes and silverware were few and not in very good condition.
This is not a 3-star hotel. It's barely 2 stars. Wi-fi did not work. The rooms have not been updated since the early 80s. the carpets and bedspreads are awful, and my pillow smelled of mildew. I can't say how disappointing this place is.
La Residence was nice in that the location was central, and suites were quite large and included everything one could want in a home away from home. I could happily live there for several weeks without any problem.
The internet went down for a couple days. Not that big of a deal as I was at an event all day that had wifi, but I would have hoped that they could have managed to get it up and running faster.
The room surprised me for the size and the classic decoration. It's a large room including kitchen, dinning place, bathroom, living room and a separate bedroom. I feel really quiet and safe in such environment.
Wifi in the room is temporally not working during the weekends, but in the hotel there is cable, so fine.
The rooms were spacious and it saved money on meals to have a kitchen that I could cook and store food in..
The managers were very friendly and helpful, trying their best to make us feel at home :)
The beds were not comfortable: the mattress covers had some "waterproof material" in them that would make you sweat and made noise every time you turn.
The "hotel" is across the street from Bellevue Square and therefore withing walking distance of the conference meetings. The price was 70 percent less than a room two blocks away. The room was very large.
I am sorry you don't want complaints, but that is what you are going to get. The hotel is old, run down, smelly, with outdated, worn and spartan furniture. Frankly, if there had been anywhere else to get a reservation I would have left and gone somewhere else. The clothing rack completely fell off the wall with the weight of one hanger. Trying to save money on showers and hot water meant a flow restricted to a trickle. The floors are old and uneven, carpets worn out. While the hotel room was very large, it was very, very outdated. I would not recommend this hotel.
